Nestled in the beautiful valleys and mountains of Southern Vermont, between Brattleboro and Bennington, Windham Southwest Supervisory Union (WSWSU) serves five rural school districts across Windham and Bennington Counties including the towns of Wilmington, Halifax, Whitingham, Readsboro, Stamford, and Searsburg.
We collectively strive toward academic excellence and educational success for all of our students. WSWSU does this by creating pathways for our students to become powerful communicators, critical thinkers, and collaborators who use empathy and take responsibility for relationships, lifelong learning, and adaptability in our changing world.
Please Complete the 2024 - 2025 Special Education Parent Involvement Survey!
Are you a parent or legal guardian of a student(s) who received special education services or supports during the 2024-2025 school year? If you are, then the VT AOE wants to hear feedback on your experience from last school year! This completely confidential and brief survey provides valuable data on how we can improve special education collaboration with parents throughout Vermont.
The parent involvement survey window is open until September 30th, 2025. Translated surveys are available by clicking on the survey link.
Contact: Caitlin Chisholm by emailing Caitlin.Chisholm@Vermont.gov with any questions you have about this survey.
The WSWSU is committed to discovering and cultivating the unique gifts, talents, and interests that every student possesses regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, family economics, class, geography, ability, age, language, gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation.
